WHEREAS, A Finance Contract, between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the European Investment Bank stipulating that the European Investment Bank provided to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a credit amount of Twenty Five Million EUROs (25,000,000 EUROs) for financing the Urban Power Distribution and Load Dispatch Project, was signed in Addis Ababa on the 9th day day of December 2002;
WHEREAS, basic economic international agreement has to be ratified prior to entry into force;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Finance Contract at its session held on the 5th day of August, 2003;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
