WHEREAS, Policy Studies Institute is established by Proclamation No. 1097/2018 Article 32(11), following the redefining of the organization, powers and duties of the executive organs of the Federal Democratic Republic Of Ethiopia;

WHEREAS, it is necessary to determine the organization of the Institute by collecting the powers and duties in to one document, as it is provided under the Definition of Powers and Duties of the Executive Organs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Proclamation No. 1097/2018 ;

WHEREAS, it is provided that powers and duties given to the Ethiopian Development Research Institute and Policy Studies and Research Center shall be given to the institute;

NOW, THEREFORE, this Regulation is issued by the council of Ministers pursuant to Article 34 of Definition of Powers and Duties of the Executive Organs of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Proclamation no.1097/2018.
