WHEREAS, an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income has been signed between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on the 12th day of April 2015, in Abu Dhabi;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said convention at its session held on the 19th day of April 2016;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
