Ethics and Anti-Corruption Directorate is established in accordance with the law and works under the Justice Reform and Institutional Building Division. The major roles and responsibilities of the Directorate are:
Conducting research to identify ethical gaps among leaders and employees of the Ministry and organizing training to fill those gaps
Preparing institutional ethical regulations and ensuring their implementation
Organizing ethics and anti-corruption awareness-raising documents and disseminating them via multimedia channels
Facilitating and organizing ethical vanguard rewards and recognition
Conducting ethics and anti-corruption induction training for new appointees and employees
Coordinating corruption prevention and ethical integrity-building tasks and synergies
Conducting implementation improvement research related to ethics, anti-corruption, and malpractice, and providing recommendations for the Ministry
Conducting research on conflict of interest related to decision-making, designing prevention mechanisms, and providing advice to the Ministry
Managing new, renewal, termination, and exit asset registration for appointees, middle leaders, and employees
Prompting corruption deterrence and designing and conducting immediate anti-corruption and malpractice measures
Facilitating protection mechanisms for whistleblowers and designing anonymous tip systems
Receiving and investigating presumed compliance violations and malpractice
Investigating compliance issues, forwarding them for further investigation, and providing recommendations for the Ministry and filing charges with the Commission in accordance with superior orders
