WHEREAS, the Agreement on the Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea was signed in Malabo on 11 June 2009;
WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force 30 days after the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channels and receipt of the last notification letter;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on the 5th day of January, 2010;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 sub article (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
