WHEREAS, a Loan Agreement, between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the OPEC Fund for International Development stipulating that the OPEC Fund for International Development provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a Loan in the amount of 20,000,000 US Dollars (Twenty million US Dollars) for financing Sawla Key Afer rural electrification project was signed in Vienna on the 19th day of November, 2007;
WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the Financing Agreement at its session held on the 8th day of May, 2008;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub Article (1) and (12) of the Constitution it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
