WHEREAS, the Agreement on Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Kingdom of Sweden is signed in Addis Ababa 10th December, 2004;

WHEREAS, it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange c: instruments of ratification through diplomatic channels;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Agreement at its session held on 30th day of June, 2005;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles (1) and (12) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows;
