Whereas, the International Maritime Organization has adopted the International Protocol to regulate the capacity of loading of ships in order to secure the safety of the ship’s crew and the cargo on the 11th day of November 1988 (Load Line Protocol 1988) which was entered in to force as of the 3rd day of February, 2000;

Whereas, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said Protocol at its session held on the 25th day of December, 2014;

Now, therefore, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
