WHEREAS, the Ethiopian Social Rehabilitation and Development Fund was established to conduct and coordinate activities of social rehabilitation and development associated with the Emergency Recovery development associated with the Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Program;

WHEREAS, being continuous, these activities can be carried on as part of their regular duties by the appropriate executive organs of the Federal and or Regional Governments, now that the situation that had necessitated the launching of the Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Program does not exist any longer;

WHEREAS, to forestall duplication of work that would result from the continued existence of the Ethiopian Social Rehabilitation and Development fund, it has been found necessary to dissolve this institution;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) of the Constitution, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
