WHEREAS, the House of Federation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has decided to establish an Inclusive Interim Administration in the Tigray Region pursuant to Article 62(9) of the FDRE Constitution and Article 14 (2) (b) of Proclamation No. 359/2003 at its extra ordinary session held at the 5th parliamentary period, 6th working year held on November 7,2020;

WHEREAS, it has become necessary to establish an Inclusive Interim Administration in the Tigray Regional State pursuant to Article 10(1) of the Agreement for Lasting Peace through a Permanent Cessation of Hostilities between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF);

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of Ministers has issued this Regulation.
