WHEREAS, a convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income (the Convention) was signed between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Poland on the 13th of July 2015, in Addis Ababa;

WHEREAS, the House of Peoples’ Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the said convention at its session held on 22nd June 2017;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55 (1) and (12) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
