WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend Proclamation No. 980/2016 concerning registration and business licensing to establish a commercial registration and business licensing system that is responsive to business needs by providing simple, efficient, modern, and accessible registration and licensing services;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows.
