The Federal Attorney General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Ministry of Justice, Penitentiary Affairs in Charge of Human Rights of the Republic of Djibouti,(hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Parties” and separately as the “Party”;

COGNIZANT of the friendly relations existing between the two countries:

RECOGNIZING the common will of pursuing the interest of justice as a primary element of both countries in upholding the rule of law;

DESIRING to promote and develop the judicial cooperation between the justice organs of the two countries;
